Meet the Chiropractor

Dr. Francis Shaw, DC, CSCS

Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Dr. Shaw attended SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Biology. He then worked as a strength & conditioning coach in Rochester, New York at Next Level Strength & Conditioning while obtaining the title of Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. There, he was greatly inspired by Mana Performance Therapy, an on-site physical therapist. At this time, Dr. Shaw also started the strength & conditioning program at a local high school.
Dr. Shaw then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the first ever Chiropractic College. There, he completed a 5 year curricular schedule in 3.5 years, earning a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He worked as a chiropractic intern in the Palmer Clinics, performing neurological exams, physicals, orthopedic exams, functional movement screenings, adjustments, and pain management. He also became a sports rehabilitation intern, exposing him to more active, movement-based care in the Palmer Clinics, all while working as a personal trainer at the Bittner athletic center in Iowa.
Now, Dr. Shaw runs New Age, a house call private practice while also seeing patients 1 day per week at Finger Lakes Office of Alternative Therapies. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking or skiing with his fiancé, hockey, lifting weights, and drinking espresso.
